Can I extend my stay at the GRAND VELAS LOS CABOS?
Yes! The discounted group rate is $1,150/night+ (yes, that’s a deal) and is available to you for the 3 days prior to and after the program dates, subject to availability. Simply input your desired arrival and departure dates when you register to indicate your desire to take advantage of this.
Do I have to attend the planned events?
Yes! Your trip is largely yours to design to your liking but we do ask that you please attend the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30PM on the Playon Pyramide and the Sales Gratitude Dinner on Friday, April 12th in the Playon Musica, with cocktails staring at 5:00PM and dinner at 6:00PM. Thanks for making it happen, captain!
Do I have to stay at the GRAND VELAS LOS CABOS the whole time?
No! But why would you want to leave?! Everything you need is within reach (or at a sister park a complimentary bus ride away)! And we cannot vouch for your safety or fun quotient if you decide to venture outside of an Xcaret property so please stick around!
Is there a place to shop for necessities?
Yes! Each building at the GRAND VELAS LOS CABOS has a shop where you should be able to find what you’re looking for! If you don’t find it, concierge most certainly will!
Is there a gym?
Yes! We have a gym that is private to our building - the Casa de las Artistas.
Is there a spa?
Yes! But it is a third-party operation so not included and will be an out-of-pocket expense should you choose to enjoy. Please click here for more information.
Where applicable, how do I make reservations for activities, shuttles, or restaurants?

What’s the story with checkout again?
When you depart the GRAND VELAS LOS CABOS, you must go to the front desk to check-out by 12PM. The hotel automatically arranges a shuttle for you back to Cancun 5 hours prior to your flight time. Should you wish to make any changes to that, please coordinate directly with the front desk. Please do not leave less than 3 hours - at a minimum - before your departure flight time.
Can I be reimbursed for out-of-pocket costs?
No. Should you choose to enjoy an activity (including the spa) or restaurant that is not included, the cost is yours and is not reimbursable.
